There is a further 9 hole par 3 course and a 18 hole junior course par 3, also a golf school providing the utmost in practice facilites to improve your swing, an intensive driving range plus putting & chipping greens. The club house offers all day dining and a comfortable lounge & bar. Within a short walk of the apartment is the excellently appointed Alhaurin Golf Hotel with cafe bar and gastronomic restaurant, swimming pools, saunas, tennis and horse riding. There are several good restaurants & ventas in the immediate vicinity and the town of Alhaurin el Grande offers many more, plus shops, bars & discos. Alhaurin Golf complex is 10 minutes from the picturesque white village of Mijas, overlooking the costa del Sol where you will find all the delights of Marbella, Puerta Banus & Fuengirola which is a mere 20 mins drive away. Car hire is recommended to explore the many delights of the area, and can be arranged directly with the owner, taxis are also available and a regular bus service runs from Alhaurin Golf to Mijas & Fuengirola and inland to Alhaurin & Coin. There is so much to do, many places to visit nearby and for a full day trip it is possible to visit Nerja, Granada, Cadiz, Seville, Gibralta, or even Tangiers.
