Description of Villa:
Villa Miba accommodates 6 people in three spacious bedrooms ( 2 double and 1 twin ) The double bedrooms both have fitted wardrobes, ceiling fans and additional heating if required.The third bedroom can be used as a twin or one of the beds can be folded away to produce a single room. One of the double bedrooms is ensuite and there is also a seperate bathroom with bath, shower, handbasin and toilet. The Kitchen and Lounge/Diner is seperated by an American arched breakfast bar and both are cooled by overhead ceiling fans. There is a log burning stove in the Lounge for those cooler out of season nights. It has its own private 8m x 3m swimming pool with ample space to lounge in the sun or relax and sip ice cold drinks in the shade of the covered porch.Standing in its own one acre plot the property is surrounded by fig, almond and olive trees and it is possible at the right time of year to pick and eat your own grapes from the vines on the gentle slopes around the Villa. This south facing Villa is set in a stunning peaceful location just below the Sierra Almijara National Park and offers 360 degree views of the Mediteranean coast the mountains and the Andalucian countryside. The main Patio at the front of the Villa is ideal for dining al fresco or having a BBQ in the late evening and watching the sun go down over the mountains. There is ample secure parking available for 2/3 cars A 3km - 5 minute drive will take you to the nearest village ( Archez ) and a 7km - 15minute drive to the small Town of Competa. Competa :- The small whitewashed town of Competa nestles into the hillside below the Sierra Almijara, a range of mountains that runs from Malaga to Granada. It is one of Spains best kept secrets offering 300 days a year sunshine, magnificent views and the friendly hospitality of the local people. An active agricultural Town, Competa is steeped in history dating back to the Moors and this is reflected in the whitewashed houses and the narrow winding streets with something different around every corner. Competa has a little of everything, good quality Restaurants and Bars, Shops, Banks, Small Supermarkets and Gift shops. The Mediteranean coastal resorts of Nerja, Torrox and Torre del Mar are only a short drive away and offer sunbathing, swimming and watersports on relatively uncrowded sand and pebble beaches. There are plenty of bars and restaurants along the coastal road mostly specializing in freshly caught fish. Golf courses can be found all along the Costa, but the newly opened Baviera Golf is the closest one to Competa. A 25 minute drive will get you to this beautiful landscaped 18 hole course, where non members can play and hire equipment at very reasonable rates

FLIGHTS and TRAVEL :- Malaga is the nearest Airport to Competa. EasyJet, BA, BMI baby, FlyBe, and Monarch all fly to Malaga from various UK departures. the transfer time to Competa is 1 hour. Flights to Granada with Ryanair and Monarch are also available but the transfer time is nearer 2 hours. A car is essential for your holiday and we recommend that you try www.carjet.co.uk The car journey to Competa takes approx 1 hour. Map and directions can be supplied if required. Shops :- You will find that you can get most of your fresh food shopping in Competa ( Meat, Fish, Bread, Fruit and Vegtables. ) there are also 2 supermarkets, banks with cashpoints,plenty of bars and restaurants offering everything from Coffee and Tapas to Wine and top quality food. There is also a local market on a Saturday morning that sells locally grown produce, clothing,health food and most other items that you would associate with a general market. Leisure :- Locally you will find Horse Riding, Hiking, Mountaineering, Tennis, Paragliding, Swimming, Cycling, Trail Riding, Quads etc. A 25 minute drive down to the Coast and you will be able to sample most Water Sports, a choice of Golf Clubs, Sea Fishing,Water Parks, Theme Parks and much more. There is also a wide range of shops, supermakets and shopping centres available if you desire.
