Charming Country House in Andalusia with beautiful swimming pool in a VERY QUIET area with beautiful views

Description of Country house: |
Casa Golondrina is a traditionally built Andalusia villa situated on 15000m of terraced land with almond trees, grapevines and fig and loquat trees at about 380m above sea level. It is a lovely quiet place to enjoy nature and to spend your holidays surrounded by spectacular views of the mountains with only the sound of birds and perfect for hikes and walks, but at the same time you can enjoy the typical Spanish town of Almuñecar with its tapas bars, small winding shopping streets dated from Arabic times, nice beaches and good and reasonable priced restaurants.
Casa Golondrina:
The house has two terraces, one in the shade at the entrance of the living room with a typical Spanish marble dining table and chairs and next to it a terrace where you can enjoy the Spanish sun. Also around the beautiful 5x9 private swimming pool surrounded by gardens, you have a big terrace with garden furniture shaded by a parasol with sun loungers, an outdoor shower. The cozy living room has a comfortable sofa and chairs and a wood burning heater for chilly nights in winter. The kitchen is completely equipped for 5 persons (electric cooker, dishwasher, coffee machine, oven, and microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, hand mixer, and washing machine).
The bedroom sleep (3+2) are arranged as follows :
a master bedroom with a double bed and a one persons bed which is above the other bed(mezzanine),
A comfortable sofa in the living room which can be built in 2 comfortable one persons beds. This can be done very quickly.
The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet.
On one side of the living room next to the kitchen is the dining table but this is rarely used as all meals are usually taken on the terrace while enjoying the beautiful mountain views given that the whether permits outdoors life almost all year round.
Access:
It takes about an hour by car from Malaga airport or Granada to reach Almuñecar. From there, it takes another 20 minutes to cover the 9 Km to your holyday home over a winding, small, steep asphalted road. Some parts are sand. When you arrive in Almuñecar, the caretaker will meet you and lead you the first time to the house.
Entertainment:
Almuñecar offers a wide range of activities such as scuba diving, boat rental, sailing, paragliding, horse-riding, paintball shooting, tennis, golf and swimming. There is a water park and a bird park. Near the house is the natural park of Peña Escrita, full of all kind of animals such as hippopotamus, monkeys, mountain goats, bears etc. with free entrance and spectacular views it is a real treat.
Excursions: The beautiful caves of Nerja just 20 min. from Almuñecar. The Sierra Nevada with its ski resort open until Easter is just a 1.30 hour away, the magic Alhambra palaces at an hour’s drive and the fascinating white villages of the Alpujarra region just 40 minutes from Almuñecar.
Prices include bed, table and kitchen linen, towels, water and electricity.
Wood for the heater and 50 euros for final cleaning costs are excluded.
Minimum stay is one week and changeover preferred on Saturdays but exceptions can be made.
